Anyone who has received attunements from a Reiki Master/Teacher can channel Reiki energy - no prior knowledge is needed. There are three levels of attunement. Some Reiki Masters separate Master level and teaching to reduce costs for those who wish to progress to Master level without ever wanting to teach others themselves.

¥ First Degree

You will permanently open to the Reiki energy which you can then channel through your hands for the benefit of self and others.

¥ Second Degree

Level 2 attunements increase the amount of Reiki that can be channelled. You will also learn symbols which form the Reiki ‘tool kit’. Focused use of the symbols enables you to heal more effectively on a range of levels and permits sending Reiki healing across time and space.

¥ Third Degree/Master

Level 3 attunements intensify the amount of Reiki channelled once again and you will be taught how to

use the Master symbol. Should you wish to teach yourself, your Master may pass on the knowledge at this level or during a further ‘teacher training’ session.

How long does it take to be attuned?

Attunements take a matter of minutes to complete and the rest of your time will be spent in practical training. Reiki Masters offer workshops which range from 1 day to 1 week and increased length of training is usually associated with increased costs. My single day workshops run from 10.30am to 5.30pm with a follow up evening about 10 days later.

What do I need to bring?

The workshop cost includes your training, a comprehensive manual, full certification, lunch and refreshments during the day, and full support and back-up. You should wear comfortable clothing.

You should aim to be as ‘kind’ to yourself as possible prior to being attuned. Drink lots of water, eat fresh organic food as much as you can and cut out/down on caffeine, alcohol, tobacco etc. This will be a time of personal spring cleaning, the orders for at least three weeks afterwards are to pamper yourself and your body as much as possible….

Class numbers are limited – therefore booking is essential. I run regular workshops from Hollybank House which is 15 minutes away from Portadown, Lurgan, Dungannon and Armagh.
