In Summer 2006 I felt so privileged to be given the opportunity to work with a beautiful mare, Cara. Her owner felt that Reiki would help calm her nervous disposition. Never having worked with a client so large before - I don't know who was more nervous!!

I carried out three consecutive weekly treatments and found Cara's response different on each occasion. On the first she just relaxed her huge head on to my shoulder and seemed to relax completely. On another she moved around until my hands were exactly where she wanted them to be!

Her frisky stable partner even let me channel Reiki for her with no problem at all much to her dedicated owner's surprise. And all with excellent results.

Since that time I have successfully worked with numerous equine friends and have been inspired by both the horses and their owners to develop a Reiki workshop specifically for them. For this new venture I have the pleasure of working alongside Dr Helen Spence of www.helenspencehorsesense.co.uk, a well respected equine behavioural therapist.
